Im from alaska and i was hoping to see you know maybe a good docementary on alaska not this shit about barrow ive been to barrow twice in the "summer" or early fall and its just overal a completly shit ass town probably the worse place ive ever been ive seen the sights i jumped in the artic ocean for there polar bear dip challenge and other than the football game there was absolutely nothing to fuck do at all

Im from barrow originally. a few of your perceptions on the village are kinda wrong on why the people do the things they do. especially on why the village looks the way it does. most families have plenty of cash cushion and its not really a matter of expense. its just that most people aren't about flash and it would be a hassle to have to renovate and fix up every single thing every summer because of the winter weather damage. 1:51 was my old house from when I was growing up by the way hehe.
