u have to finalize the DVD first then u put the mini DVD into ur computer then open up the canon folder then ull seelike dcim or sometinh click on 1 of the 2 boxes try both of them the if is white click on 1 of the vids like the 1 after the 1st one cause the first is not a vid its the thing that records it so click on 1 of the vids after the memory thing the right click go to properties go to open with then put wondows media player then click ok then open it it will open up W.M.P hope this helps

this camara aint very good....- no light. can't record in the dark.-can't edit them on the computer-can't convert files- can't record on miniSD- can't play minidvd on most dvd players...(finalized)-and what backfiredplans said....its basically a playback camera.

i got this camera for my birthday a year and a half ago, the guy at the best buy said it was great for the internet and video editing, and after a year and a half of struggling with converting files to put it on editing software i find its basically a playback camera only... some bullshit
